Default New product - hydroboost PS tank and reservoirs

Musclerodz is proud to introduce its first in a line of exclusive manufactured parts. Tank has been designed specifically for use with Hydroboost systems. These are not a simple tank to hold fluid. There is over a dozen parts to these tanks, many to control the flow of fluid. Outlet is a -10 (-8 optional but not recommended), dual returns are -6, internal baffling to prevent any aeriated fluid from entering the system. Cap is vented and baffled as well. Machined clamps are also being made and will be optional at extra cost, as well as braided supply and 1 return line to match the braided lines supplied with Hydratech systems. Prototype tanks are done and going out to a select few people for field testing and feedback. First run of tanks should be available 4-6 weeks. Price point has not been finalized but should be around $150. These tanks will also be available for non-hydroboost setup as well.

In addition to the power steering tanks, we will also have matching overflow/recovery tanks as well. Price point on those will be closer to $100, but not finalized either. Several different finish options are planned, machined, polished, and annodized.

These tanks are just the first of several parts we plan to release. Stay tuned!

I may have to get one of those. I have a hydroboost and just swapped to a remote reservoir pump because the integral reservoir pump is too small, not enough fluid capacity. I have a remote aluminum tank that came on my car originally, but it's not really set up for hydroboost, would have to add another fitting, etc.

Good job Mike.

That is a common problem we have found. There are some tanks out there, but nothing that looks nice or has a matching overflow tank. All hydroboost systems could benefit from running remote reservoirs for the added capacity to help prevent cavatation, and with a properly designed tank with 2 returns, eliminate the issues that are caused by teeing in the return lines.
