Mechanical Fuel Injection

Has anyone experimented with mechanical fuel injection? Something like Killer Ron's "Terminator" or "Flying Toilet" systems? That "Terminator" looks sweet & it will fit right under my hood! Yum, Yum! Just wondering how hard the fine tuning will be.
