Default Centered 9 inch?

I have a 63 Galaxie that I built a fab9 rear end for and I built a custom 3 link suspension for it. My question is that I centered the driveshaft with the yoke and tunnel in my car and I know from a few other 9 inch rear ends is that the passenger tube is longer than the other. I made both sides equal lengths and now I have the same length axles in both. I have driven the car a few times around the block and I can't tell in major difference in driving it, it seems to drive just fine. I want to make it into a pro touring car and do some autocross in it. My biggest question is will having equal axle tubes make a big difference in handling or is it something that wouldn't be noticable or should i add a shim or cut the tube and add to the passenger side axle?
