Default Square Peg in Round Hole Help!! PICS

A buddy of mine is working on a 50 merc and needs some guidence with some mouldings. The roof has been chopped and now we have to make the mouldings fit the rear glass! Any Ideas?

cardboard temple of the opening cut and weld the moulding to fit. if its stainless or alum polish it if chrome make sure you grind the chrome off before welding them rechrome it.

look at the inside to see what parts of the roof they used when they chopped it. cut your mouldings in about the same places, and fit them together....weld and repolish.

the lower rear corner is gonna be a PITA, usually that corner is "faked" in with sheetmetal, so getting the trim to fit the shape it has now will take some time and effort. i would try to find another set of mouldings before hand just in case you need extra parts of the bends.
