Question 502 in 68 camaro

I have a 68 camaro that was originally a 6 cyl car. When I bought it, it had a 350. I have sold the 350 and bought a Chevrolet ZZ502 BB and need to get the correct oil pan and motor mounts.

Im just getting started getting parts together to put it in and want to do it right the first time.

What is the best bang for the buck for a good radiator. I dont want overheating on warm sunny days.

thanks

chris

Any suggestions would be helpful.

One mistake I made was going with a long waterpump. It was a tight fit with the fan. I never had overheating problems after I restricted my bypass hose. For some reason water was not going thru the radiator enough. I had a 2 core universal alum. rad. It was as thick as a 4 core brass.

I have had luck with be-cool but i have recently bought a couple fron ron davis radiators, and as with anything in life... you get exactly what you pay for!.. The davis stuff is just eons better!.. my advice is to not cheap out on important stuff, and not overspend on stuff that dont matter.. and the radiator is one place not to get cheap! it is always cheaper to do it right the first time..

and dont ever run non-oem btackets or tin on an engine like that.. unless you but HIGH dollar stuff, the chrome and cheaper billet stuff just dont fit, work or seal as well as the chevy stuff.. brackets and tin from a JY works way beter that chrome taiwan crap. (i bought a march serpentine system for my BBC and it was still junk!)

I used the 7 quart Milodon pan. I have a BeCool radiator+Spal fan setup that ran $1K, however I would definitely look at the Ron Davis radiators if I were to do it again. The BeCool setup has been fine, but I didn't know about the Ron Davis line when I got it.
