Default Need some fittings

I have a oil cooler with a 18 x 1.5 female fitting on it. I have a 3/8" male pipe fitting for a Autometer Mechanical temp sender and I need to mate them together.

Oh, and the 18x1.5 plug has a o ring on it.

I found a male 18x 1.5 to -6 or -8 male end, but can't find a female -6 or -8 to 3/8 fitting.

Ideally one that will screw right into the cooler and then allow me to put my pipe fitting would be nice............

It's a strange cooler, the in and out are AN ends (or pipe....I didn't put the ends on) then on the other side is this metric fitting with a o ring on it.

I have one for oil cooler and one for tranny cooler............got a tranny temp and oil temp sender to put in each one.

I looked in my Earls, Russel and Aeroquip catalogs and didn't find anything other then the above mentioned fitting.

Thanks

Default I don't think it goes that large but

if you will go to www.iequus.com they have an fitting adapter kit for about $10 that the male part is metric and the female end is NPT. I used it for the oil and water temp sending units. Screwed them right into my LS1 and put the sending units right in. On that situation, it may be easier to make a fitting.
