help can somone show me how to draw crossply tyres as im hopeless if any knows of a how to or some one can show me then i would be gratefull

Which tread pattern? Are you doing the typical parallel zig-zag stripes? Those are pretty easy, I would use an ellipse guide though to create light reference lines and draw the zig zags over.

zig zag tread im trying to do the sides but they keep look like block i use a ellipse guide

I really don't know if there's any way I can explain it so that it helps you. It looks to me that it's a series of triangles radiating from the center. The midpoint of the base of each triangle radiates from the center. They look narrow/tall when they are at the highest and lowest part of the sidwall, as they make their way towards the side they become fatter so you'll see more of them.
