Drawings look pretty good. They have a nice "mass"(or solid) feel to them. Ditto with all the comments above. Auto cad is not very good for 3-D. If you check out the other topic, "calling all artists", several people listed what they use and the process they use. Seams Photoshop is a good one to go with.
Remember to keep drawing.
