Default Steve help me with Shrifter

Steve,
Shrifter will up shift but will not down shift. When down shift paddle is pulled the red light on the reciver blinks but will not shift. Also there are two mode switches on the reciver what are they for? I know this is something simple but Ineed help.

sounds like the mode switches lost there way, typically #1 is upshift and # 2 is downshift, you can program it easily, call steve i am sure he will walk you thru it in mins.
He usually works sat so try him.

We provide test lights on the both the transmitter and receiver for just this kind of reason. Allows us and you to quickly isolate and correct potential problems.

You might have accidentally sent the mode switches into "learn" mode. You can pop the cover off the receiver and look on the inside of the cover for instructions. But they are very simple. Hold mode button for three seconds. Test light will blink. Tap the appropriate paddle and it will learn the security code. This security learn feature prevents your paddle shifter from opening the neighbor's garage door.

Anyway, call me Vin. Not so easy to troubleshoot on a message board.

Steve,
I held test botton 3 seconds test light started to blink tapped down shift paddle went for test drive did'nt come back for two hours. So easy a caveman could do it. Now I will crawl back in my cave. Thanks Steve

Good. Easy Pleasey. That's the idea. Call me during the week with your car plugged into the laptop and I will teach you how to tune like a pro. Takes about 20 minutes.

Vin, Steve tuned my tranny yesterday it's awesome what he can do with these tranny's. Let him walk you through it, you will be amazed!

i love a company that thinks about the customer and problems that they have, before they have problems .
i can't wait to drive one of these cars with a paddle shift . maybe very soon .

oh by the way BigVin nice car and wow it sounds nasty !

The car you heard is Vinz68 and your right it sounds sweet.
Vin I talk to Steve today about setting up trans .This Shrifter is unreal. Any body with an e trans dose not know what there missing if they dont have a Shrifter.
