Thanks guys for the help, ill try getting a mark VIII fan to start. What PSI cap should I run?? I Will also put the bypass hose back in. I have the temp gauge in the top of the intake, is that where It needs to be?

I knew Lat-g would come threw!

upper intake temps are usually higher than temps in the head. We try to put them in the head when we can.....

I would advise on atleast a 12 PSI cap, I run a 14PSI cap on my jaguar and with the dual spal fans it never goes above 190. Try a milodon high flow thermostat and a high pressure cap should help cure some of the problem.
If that dosent work I Also would adivse in buying a flow Kooler water pump.
They really do work, How do I know this I own a pontiac and there know for getting hot.

Me and all my buddy's with small blocks and big blocks run a 3.8L V6 Taurus fan that pulls an estimated 2000cfm. Junk Yard for $25 Work's great!
