Not to hy-jack this thread, but what does it cost to have a shell acid dipped? how good of a job does it do?

International Paint Stripping

They can strip and e-coat body shells within the measurements of 13.6 feet in length and 48 inches in height. Cost: $2500

The price has really gone up. When I had mine done it was $1800. That was about 3 years ago. Does a superior job then media blasting can. It can get places a media-blaster can't, and the e-coat covers areas that a painter can't get to with his gun.

So far I haven't had a single thing go wrong with my car, so I can't relate to anyone elses bad experiences with it. They must not have had it done in Michigan because the place in Romulus power washes the car with hot water after it's removed from the bath. There's a few cars on PT.com that had their cars Acid-Dipped. Hell....even that silver car that Lillard tools around in took an acid bath a few years back. And at the same place I had mine done.
