Default Repro Quarter and Spoiler Fitment - 68 Camaro

I just recently got the rear quarter installed on the driver's side, but the gap between the spoiler and top of the quarter is excessive (roughly 3/4"). I installed a Golden Legion panel and was extremely impressed with the fit other than this area. What really concerns me is that the gap will really be ugly when I install the weatherstripping. Sorry, but I don't have any pictures at this time. Has anyone had this problem? If so, how did you fix it?
