Macbuick,we run into people with this problem all the time. That`s why I designed the StreetComp Stage 2-Plus. http://www.scandc.com/suspensions.htm#streetcomp2plus
Use your stock spindles and Track brakes and get nearly the geometry of the AFX tall spindles. It`ll lower the car about 3/4". If that`s too much for you we have thicker urethane upper spring seats that will give you back about 5/8" of that for a total drop of about 1/8" (might as well say nothing at all). You will have to change the CPP upper A arms but can retain and use the lower ones. Once installed and aligned there`s no additional maintenance of adjusting to do just drive it and enjoy. Mark SC&C
