Hot Rod Mag. - What does everyone think of Street Cup?

To All:

I think they look like loads of fun. There is always something special seeing the older 55-75 model cars dressed like the race cars of the day. I have lots of memories as a kid watching these types of cars run.

I'm not sure I would have the same passion for cars as I do now, if I had grown up watching the NASCAR of today. They have evolved themselves away from the normal guy, whereas, these older car were something someone could actually relate to, especially the "Super Bird" and, "Daytona".

I remember seeing those going the road and as a kid, Who wouldn't want to drive a real Race Car on the Street?

Personally, I think it would be very cool to see a segment of the, "Pro Touring", crowd get into these types of builds.

These are some of the types of cars I was also wanting to see on the other thread I posted regarding, "Race Cars", on the Street.

Who else thinks these would be a blast to cruise around town in. It's not like nobody notices a great PT car anyway. You might as well give them something they will definitely remember.
