Default Engine swap...now what?

I finally replaced the original engine and trans in my '68 Firebird project. Now I'm thinking to myself, "What do I do with the old one?" So here's my question to all of you guys who've done engine swaps: how did you get rid of your old package? My local auto dismantlers won't take engines without taking the car as well (over my dead body). It's a running 4.1L OHC6 Sprint with a Powerglide. Any suggestions?

www.firstgenfirebird.org is a place to unload it. There are a few folks there constantly buying up OHC Pontiacs. They might even come pick it up.

Sadly, in the neighborhood I live in "Free" might take a week. Put it on the curb with a sign saying "$300" and that sucker will have disappeared by the time you get back into your house.
