Default V8TV 1968 Buick Riviera

Our latest project may not deliver the highest lateral-g forces, but we hope to build something that holds the road and is very different.

It's our 1968 Riviera project, a car that will have a 500hp Buick V8, overdrive, hydroboosted discs, the right stance / wheels / tires, upgraded suspension, Benz S500 interior, and lots of other goodies. The trick is here is that there is basically no aftermarket support for this car, so we're going to have to do some fab work on the suspension parts to get what we want.

I'd love to autocross this 4500 lb. monster someday, so we've got some suspension work ahead of us.

We also have an EFI idea that we may implement on the Buick if we can figure it out.

We'd like to show you can build a cool non-mainstream car without breaking the bank. (Our bank is already broken!)

Here's the intro video... we hope to finish this car in the next year or so, so we won't be posting daily updates, but we'll post the progress.

that's a cool project Kevin. I think you mentioned it before, because I remember hearing about it, and going to look at them on collectorcartrader.

Thanks Jody!

Now you're going to go get one and make it cooler than mine!

BTW, Kelle and I had dinner with the Hickmans last night. We were talking about how amazing the 'Tude is going to be. We're all excited to see it!
