i never gave mopars a second look before i started on this cuda , but now i would love to build a cuda or challenger but damn! they cost about 3x the amount of doing a camaro or mustang , especially if you need to locate trim parts or items that are not available as copies yet, that is also part of the appeal though as you dont see many done in this style, most mopar guys are a bit anal about keeping them stock, thats why most even keep stock rims! when it went to moparfest in the summer i got a lot of comments about how great it looked but would have looked better with steel wheels when the owner saw it on the ground the first time he said it was too low and we had to lift it an inch! he would still prefer it a bit higher but the shocks wont do it so he " puts up with it"

That looks awesome. I was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of it when I visited the shop where my friend (kryptonite) works.

On a personal choice note - I would drop it back down that inch as it looks too much like one of barry whites super muscle cars (and they are arse high as well). keep everything else as it is - or give it to me

How much work was it to shoe horn that v10 in there? Did you have to move the firewall and how bad was the setting up the harness? Any pics of the interior

the firewall was set back about 5-6 inches but some of this was due to the alterkation crossmember as they were never designed for a viper motor, the oil pan is cast with the oil passages cast in so we couldnt easily modify it, i think i have seen one done with a stock firewall but it would n't do much for the handling that far forward. The harness was from street and performance but we had quite a few issues with wires being wrong way in terminals etc but our sparky sorted it, mopar list a stand alone harness in stock but you cant get it when you try and order it, i have no interior shots at the moment but it looks stock but much classier as its all leather covered and the woodgrain is airbrushed.

By moving the firewall back did that set the shifter too far back? What did you do for headers?

actually the shifter came thru in exactly the same place as original! we used the stock console, it just got covered in leather, we used the original viper headers, all we did was cut the bottom off as it is at the wrong angle and i welded a 90degree bend to it as it is stainless steel, then welded a triangular 3bolt flange to the bend, we wanted to build full headers but the client didnt think the cost was justified for what he wanted from the car.

Love the Cuda!! WOW!

You all are correct when you say that building a Mopar will cost you twice as much as building another make of car.... parts usually end up cost 1.5x to 2x more for my Challenger.

I would like to know the wheel/tire sizes too... did you lower the car?
