Default 1968 Chevelle Convertible at the Paint shop

Been awhile since any postings... here are a few shots of my 68 SS vert.

Has a 502, TKO600, and a bunch of other fun stuff.

Maybe 3-4 weeks until done.

OK - this has been a 3 year project that was pulled out of a field in West Texas.

True SS, Power Window, Tilt Wheel, AC car. Frame off resto done in my garage/shop, and now getting paint/interior at a shop in Houston. All original sheetmetal and floors.

Has a GMPP 502/502 with a few mods, TKO600 Road Race Trans, 12 bolt with Eaton 3.73 posi, Discs all around, hotchkis/QAI suspension, hydroboost, AL radiator with dual fans, and a bunch of other stuff. 3.5" pypes exhaust dumped behind the rear wheels.

18x8 and 18x10 CL205's with 245/45 285/50 rear tires - pretty tall tires in the back give a different look than the normal G machine stance.

Inside has a covans dash/autometer gauges, flaming river column, custom stereo, and Acura TSX power buckets (pic below).... black with silver CF inserts.

Awesome, I am working on a 68 Malibu myself.
But...they are never done, are they?
