Question Trying to install 88 'Vette rear in 69 Camaro

Just wanted to know if anyone has done such a thing and how well would it hold-up to 1100hp? If anyone has pics and or notes to go along, that would be helpful also. Thanks!

Putting that rearend behind that motor would be a waste. We have broken our Dana 44 twice with a 605 hp LS7. Either put less motor in front of it.. or put a solid axle under the car. You won't be happy with 1100 hp in front of an IRS setup.. I garantee it.

Bummer...was the vehicle an all out drag vehicle or was it a cruiser? I was looking to install it in a pro-touring vehicle just to handle well.

They weren't that strong in a stock Vette, I would seriously 3 link it. If you want a vette rear, go C-5

Do a search on here, he is a member and will be glad to help you out. Be aware that this car had a full chassis under it. It is on the members rides page under the camaros, it is the orange and black car.
