Looks great Jason! Is it common to have the shocks in front of the axle and will that hurt wheel hop? We need pics of the rotors after use!!

The rotors are coated with E Coat. Jason was the first to get them because he is special............................. or has excellent timing, LOL!

The e coat will wear off leaving the slots and holes plated. All the drilled and slotted rotors are this way now.

With Jason's sinister black them, This should be too cool. I am stopping by GForce in a few hours on my northeast tour. I cannot wait to see it and do a little ProTouiring espionage!

Frank,

Where all are you heading on your Northeast tour? Going to be anywhere near Pittsburgh? E-mail or PM me if you are.

Well, I stopped by yesterday, and what a piece of sh--! I cannot believe he is building that ugly SOB! Man, why in the world........................

OK, OK, I am a little jealous!

It looks like it is going to be a cool ride. Nice, but not premadonna nice so it can be driven hard. I love it.

CC, We are on a pretty tight schedule to make it to DSE before closing time, so had to limit Jason's shop to 1 hr. we have another of these trips coming up, I will put you on the stop list.

Yes , I know. Sorry we are slammed with customers car right now and its only getting better!!

We have been working some evenings to get this done. The car will be on display at the Mopar Nationals in Carlilse in July.

Now for the good stuff.
The engine , headers and steering have all been fitted along with the transmission. All AIR RIDE is complete now and we have all the battery cables run.
This car has taken a turn from somewhat budget to just throwing it out the door. It was going to be a carb engine and a 3 speed auto to keep it budget. But realizing that doing a carb and a 3 speed would just hurt the value, performance , and the true fun in this car we changed to a Fuel Injected set up using AEM stand alone. Also Keisler stepped up and helped us out with a Tremec TKO 5 speed.

The tunnel is now done , Dynamated the inside and doing something a little different with the brakes lines now. We decide to run them inside the car along with the line lock and rear prop valve mounted inside under the dash for a complete clean look .

Granted this is no complete redo on this car with paint and all , it is really turning out to be a hardcore Ture Streetfighter car than some glorified showy car for "hey look at me" drive bys. This car has the look , and the parts to back up its true performance look . We tend to build and use parts that work together and have more functionality than just throwing a parts together.

Anyway the car is very close to being done. We decided to paint the engine up a little and had to use some other parts not expected so thats part of the reason its kinda behind schedule. No sense cheaping out on parts to try to pull it off. Most that know me , knows it will have the best parts it can have .

The exhaust will be completed soon, I am just trying to decide if I want a Nascar Boom Tube or tradiational tailpipes.
I was thinking of using Spintechs mufflers and a single boom tube out the back but I think it may be to loud.

Look for some pics in a day or so .
“In a market dominated by image, our focus is on performance.” this pretty much sums it up with us.
