thanks guys. It was funny when I pulled up to the timeslip booth; the lady had a confused look on her face and didn't want to hand me the slip. She kept looking at the slip and back to the number on the windshield. Finally she just asked "did that truck run 12's?"........................

She must have thought that you drove the towtruck for some racer

That is some great power in that thing.

Those numbers would beat my Camaro

What year truck is it? What exhaust? Did you get rid of the brick? Did you shut off the sensors?

2007 LMM Duramax, crew cab 4X4. MBRP exhaust (no brick ) and custom tuning through EFI Live by me (with a couple nice start-up tunes from friends).

Jody - it is crazy what these trucks will do. I bought my 6.0L F250 4WD crew cab long bed for towing and thought it would be slow as all that weight is a recipe for disaster - I was blown away on the test drive when I hit the freeway from an on ramp at almost 80mph. Salesman was a bit peeved but hey, I bought it!

I have seen similar diesel trucks running in the high 12s at Bandimere which is a MILE HIGH altitude here in Denver area with intake/exh/tuner and lots of black smoke Freakin' nuts. At the wheel hop on a few is pretty harsh - I have seen the frames oscillating like crazy on launches.
