Hey Kris,

This will be a great place for you guys, you do have one of the best gauges on the market. Good luck and if you have any questions or need anything just let me know.

Bowtieracing, our OEM business is separate from our aftermarket instrument business, and generally has significant order quantities involved. The Ford GT instruments image that you're referring to are the actual gauges we produced specifically for Ford for use in those production vehicles. We are currently working with Ford, Chrysler, GM, Toyota, and several other manufacturers on different projects.

With regard to your question looking for something in a more "OE" style, a lot of our development efforts of late have been working in that direction. I would say that Vegas69's suggestion is an excellent one. Sport-Comp II instruments are one of my personal favorites right now. We also have just introduced our GS series gauges, which have cleaner styling and green LED through the dial lighting, and might just fit the bill of what you're looking for.

I've provided a link to this product family for your reference:

http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugeop.aspx?sid=68

Further, I should mention that we also produce a Bowtie branded series of gauges that feature the same lighting as the Sport-Comp II gauges for GM Performance Parts. I'm out of the office this week but will try to post some images when I get back to my desk.

Hey Im looking into upgrading to the Carbon Fiber series. Any chance I can get a price on these:

Carbon Fiber Series
Speedo #4889
Tach #4898
Water Temp #4737
Fuel Gauge #4716
Volt #4791
Oil Pressure #4727

I hope they are the correct ones, the car is a 78 Malibu with an LT1/4L60E combo (if that helps any). The car has Ultra Lite Gauges in it now so I just copied what I had and came up with these in Carbon Fiber. If you see any mistakes feel free to suggest the correct gauge & accessories.

THANKS, Joe

Frank, Steve, Chris, great to see that you guys are part of this community. Now I now where you've all been hanging out!

As promised in my last post, I've pulled up some images of the new officially Licensed GM Bowtie Instruments and as a special treat for you Mopar Fans I have a couple pictures of the new Black and White Mopar instruments as well.

Hang in there Ford guys, we're currently in the process of redesigning the Ford Racing instruments with Ford's cooperation and I hope to have some pictures of those available for you soon.

CRCRFT78, unfortunately we don't sell products factory direct. However, it appears there are several vendors here that sell our products, so I'm hoping one of them might be able to help you purchase the gauges that you're looking for. Looking over your list, the only item I see that needs to be changed would be to swap the #4716 Fuel Level gauge (designed for our custom 240-33Ω fuel level sender) for a #4714 Fuel Level gauge which should work with your factory (GM 0-90Ω) fuel tank sending unit. The tachometer should hook up directly to the LT1 with no adapters and the electric speedometer likewise will communicate directly with the factory Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS).

Marty! Good to see you. So, did you get approval for that plane ticket?

I think my own personal projects pale in comparison to what a lot of you guys are doing here...

Only one of mine is probably appropriate to these boards, but it's not really far enough along to post anything at the moment. But I do try to play with cars when the job allows some down time.
