I still get pissed every time I look at the Hot Rod 1 spread they ran in 2005. All of their BS assurances that the issues CARS in NC had to overcome would be fixed once the production bodies came out, pffftt!

I just got the bill from my body shop for the metal work that was done to correct the door and trunk gaps that shouldn't have been off because Hot Rod said in their article " all repro and NOS doors/deck lids get fitted to each body when it is manufactured". When I asked the CARS people for the "data" on my gap fitment they admitted the article had some inaccuracies.

Needless to say that I canceled my subscription.

You pay your money and you take your chances.
