Default wilwood rotor/pad thickness question

Might be a stupid idea but...
i have some wilwood SL6R (for 14" rotor) calipers i got for cheap and would like to use for front and rear of my car. they are meant for 1.25" thick rotors and they are a narrow design so they use a narrower 0.65" (type 7416) pad.

question is could i get away with using a 1" thick rotor in the rear with the thicker 0.80" (type 7420) pads for the regular superlite calipers?

the dimensions seem the same other than the thickness but i'm no expert on this so hoping someone can help shed some light on this or steer me clear of making a dangerous mistake

my thinking is that if all other dimensions are equal, the 2 x 0.8" pads plus 1" rotor = 2.6", and they're meant for 2 x 0.65" pads plus 1.25" rotor = 2.55", then thats pretty damn close. but is close good enough?
