Jody, sorry about the mechanical problems. Unfortunately some things are beyond our control. You gave it one hell of a run and I hate to see it end this way. But like tom a said, a whole lot of us are glad that you took the time out of your already busy schedule to document your build. I really learned what it takes to turn out a top level build such as yours. The pics were really appreciated. Would really like to see this car in person also. You got my vote for SEMA. Any vendors listening?

I said I wasn't going to go if I didn't have my own car, but something very interesting has come up...............

I've said this many times, but I've got great friends.

It is still time to change to a N/A spare engine. If I was closer you could have borrowed mine. It has been around your garage before, right

With all the great people here there must be one that has an LS1 or LS2 laying around that could quickly be trashed in to your car. Might not be pretty but you could still make the tour.

Come on lets help Jody get the car running.

Jan
thanks Jan, but a n/a LS would require complete re-doing my exhaust also, which isn't something I want to do at this point. I've got a 550 rwhp LS2 sitting in the shop if that was the case, belongs to a friend who would likely let me use it.

Default Just a guess

Are you borrowing a turbo off of the mule?

I hate that your thrash has to end this way, but it is not over until it is over. I would assume you would not over night the turbo back, ship the car out and put it back on when you got there? Or does it need more tuning and shaking down.

no, the Chevelle isn't going. I've got maybe 10 miles on it. I've actually been offered another ride.
