Default I do...

I have had several versions over the years. In fact I have last years Virtual Engine Masters Challenge edition. (I won third place and $1500).

I like to play with it occasionally. As far as accuracy goes from what I have read about it it is ok to use as a tool to compare how changes may affect output but I would not go around quoting horsepower and torque figures that are given by the program.

Even engine and chassis dynos will have a variance among them from brand to brand and type to type so it is hard to say which one is correct and how far off the others are. Maybe there is an expert on here that will chime in and say which one is the one that all others are calibrated from...

And thats my 2 cents for today.

I was more curious as to if people think its worth the money, if i pop in a certain cam profile and other stuff and get a nice smooth wide powerband, what are the chances in the real world with those parts my actual power band will be peaky and nowhere near what the desktop program simulates, if the numbers are a bit off, thats cool, i just dont want it to be completely backwards.
