Lightbulb Stainless Steel Headers?

Is there any place that sells stainless steel headers to fit (and by fit, I mean fit nicely) a smallblock chevelle? I'm willing to pay up to $500 for a good set, but I want stainless. The ceramic coated steel ones I've seen all seem to rust and look like hell in 2-3 years. I only want to do it once.

I don't think you are going to find good stainless headers for $500. It is going to be closer to $600-$800. Try Stainless Works, JBA, and I just went blank. You could always fab a set up if you got the skills. Definitely could be done under $500 then.

Stainless Works builds stainless steel headers for A-bodies. Cost is $629.

Wink

Borla used to make such headers for Summit ... you may want to check with Borla or summit. I believe the headers may have been for a 1st gen Camaro, but maybe they would work ?

does anyone know a source for stainless header flanges? I'm planning on building a set of BBC headers because nothing off the shellf will work, no problem on the fabrication and the pipes for primaries and such..just can't seem to find big block flanges in stainless..only small block ones.

Burns Stainless has the largest selection of materials for header applications. Although not shown on their site, call and ask.

Another one would be Stahl headers . Jere has been in the business since before our cars were even produced and is still one of the best cats in the industry.
