Not Bitter, we have been doing the Goodguys for 10 years and have been a sponsor for 3 years now. We know how it goes and just get tired of the same old sh%t at every show.

Default the show

feslers

i agree........i know it must be very upsetting to get put into this "spot"..
you and your wife have alot invested to make the "show" as those you were up against did .
you have every right to express to us what has really happened
everyone is supposed to play by the same "rules".
it is sad that you can be a real player in a competition and get bumped so to speak by someone with a bigger name , because of the name .so it would appear to us reading this post.
goodguys should have made ALL play by the same rules and if there was a problem with any one car , addressed ALL competitors and asked for input or a vote so nobody felt backhanded .then nobody would be in this situation . im sure it sucked busting ass to get your vehicle repaired as quickly as you did to make it within the time limit and rules and someone else didnt.

oh,quality doesnt always but should make a winner in the car show scene also.
most of us have come up against that....it sucks
you as an entry "make the show " what it is .so you have the right to tell your story.
i dont think anyone should look at your story and call you a sore loser.
it is what it is...
great job putting the blazer into an autocross and finishing where you did.
who would have thought.

At the pro' pick area the car that kept bringing me back was the fesler camaro. The fit and finish on that car was second to none.Be proud Chris your car kicked ass! And not regular ass, like karate kid ass. There's something about a black that will never go out of style.

Obviously the Fesler car has fit and finish that's incredible, many people that were there said the same thing. SMOY judges must be looking at more than just fit and finish and saw something in the other cars that had them putting them in the Top 5. Doesn't mean that Chris' and others couldn't have been in there also, I think there was just a ton of quality cars there and only a few spots available.

Jody well said!
But I totally understand what Chris is saying. I can go on for hours on this subject and get my a*@ handed to me ! I choose to here what other people have to say especially any GOOD GUY'S higher ups. Its hard for a guy like me that wants to get into this arena only to have more political BS to deal with!! Im done

Hey, there is always going to be sore spots when something is judged. Quality and style is an opinion. Maybe some clear rules stating how each part is judged and what is looked for would help. It appears that more input from Goodguys as to exactly what is looked for is needed. That being said a hot pink car with 22's might be the better quality car and have more creativity than an all black Camaro.

Your car looks killer and unlike most on these sites list your name and who you are. It is easy to post opinions when you do not post who you are. You feel there was a problem and posted what it was. I think you have valid points if rules were broken. A loss on a technical issue sucks but should be enforced no matter who you are. Then again who the F am I to get involved.

Too many nice rides and difficult I am sure to judge and make everyone happy.

Wait till next year when everybody shows up with pro drivers. Didn't JR have a Camaro built by DSE?

Totally agreed Jody, politics are involved with every show...especially a GG show.
Chris, from what I could see in the limited pictures that were presented, your Camaro is arrow straight and the finish is spectaular...no doubt...and I didn't even see it in person to be able to figure that out.
It is what it is man ...keep on keeping on doing what you do and your day will come.
