I don't know if the builder knew about it but back in the early 60's ford and HM teamed up to build a few[less than 5] of those falcons with that fastback style.they were used to the racing[rallying] down in South america and a little in Mexico.Similar to the Mexican Shelby's.There are a few and I mean a few pics of the original cars floating around on the web. All were 289hp cars.I did know of one for sale about 5 years ago.And have actually seen one in person at one of the events I do.A very rare ford oddity.Stan
