Question GM 5.3 flex-fuel question

Hey guys,

Just wondering if there's any programmers out yet for the new 5.3 flex fuel engines in GM's trucks??

We have a '07 Avalanche that we use E85 on almost every fill up ($2.89 a gal. here in northern Illinois ) but the mileage stays the same on the highway as it does in city driving. I'm thinking a computer tune up would do this thing wonders.

Where in Il are you getting it that cheap? It's 3.65 in Crystal lake and I saw reg unleaded at close to 3.71 in Belvidere 2 wks ago.

Rockford.

It must be just taxes I guess. I work in Algonquin so I see the price difference and it doesn't make much sense

I've tuned a few flex fuel trucks. It's kinda new so I had to ask a few guys who had done it before. They make gobs of power, but the fuel mileage was a lot less than regular fuel. Diablo makes one as well as there are a few custom mail order tuners that do good work.
