Anticorrosive? At least the price was right... You do have some killer bits and peices laying around... I still wish I could have made use of some of them.

I would have liked to have made it up but the I was in just the wrong neighborhood. As it was, I wound up at Best of Show with Mark M. which was a treat in itself. Next time I will definately stop in, your projects are absolutely second to none.

Should be this week my friend - barring any unforeseen problems. I'm taking the better part of the seek off to work on wiring, assembly, and to get it running. If you can drag yourself away from the store for a while you should come out. Give me a call if you have time.

Yes it is an Anvil hood, but it's a very early version - I got it about this time last year. They may have made some changes since then.

Chris did the hood as well as the rest of the car. You've got my number, feel free to have Dick call me any time. He might not like what I have to tell him but I am sure that he is up to the task.

Hopefully we get a chance to see them side by side some time.

Ok... so it wasn't "one more" coat of clear... it was four more coats. Coupled with the previous six coats of clear that Chris laid down earlier there are a total of ten coat on the natural carbon fiber underside of the hood. The four today are have a semigloss finish similar to all of the grey used on the rest of the car. The first six coats were needed to clean up some irregulaties in the cowl assembly.

Edit - pics deleted

We'll finish up some details underneath tonight and then set the hood aside until it goes on in a couple of weeks.

Edit - forget what I said about the hood. It's not working out and we're going to have to start from scratch with an NOS hood... darn

We also made some great headway on the wiring... we built the rear wiring harness and spotted the ISIS power fuses and rear Powercell...

Tomorrow we'll be working toward locating the Powercell for the front harness and the Mastercell which provides the control for the two Powercells. I hope to have an update on the webpage documenting the install up in a couple of days. The more I explore the potential of the ISIS System the more impressed I am with it's capabilities. We'll also be programming the Push Button Start "personality" once we have everything together.
