Default Got my new Fesler hood hinges for the 64

Chris is just finishing up the 64 Chevelle hinges, and opted to let me try them out for final fitment.

Installation was very easy, the only snag is that I had to slightly trim a portion of the inner fender to clear the rear arm of the hinge, all cars may not need this. Took off about 1/4" here on each side....

The rest of the install was very easy. They have much more adjustment than my factory hinges, and on my car actually allowed the hood to open even further than stock. Quality is very nice, and I think it really makes a big difference in the underhood look.

Those look awesome Jody!! I want to get a set in black for my Camaro. I hate stock 2nd gen hood hinges. They suck.

I can appreciate that Allen. My stick hinges rubbed and peeled the paint off the arms, hard to keep them nice.

We are on them now, should be able to ship a few sets out in the next week so you can have them by that show. We were waiting on a car to come back in here and could not get it in time so we teamed up with Jody for final fitments.

He had to trim a little and we would like to build them so you dont have to do that. We are looking at that right now to see how much it will slow them down. If you are OK with triming I will get a set out to you ASAP. You dont see the trim but its just not something we want you guys to do. Problem is you move one thing and it causes all kinds of problems.

Keep in mind guys this is a one year application and we built it for you guys because of all the request. I am glad that Jody likes them and they really finish off his sick engine. I think most people will miss the hinges because of all the engine work and turbos
