Default 4th gen interior into a first gen????

I seen one car on this site that has the new camaro interior put into a first generation camaro. How much modification is needed to do this? Has anyone else done this besides that one car??

There are probably no less that 6 cars that I have seen on the Internet with it done. I did it in my car before it became popular but my car isn’t any were close to being done. The width of the dash is perfect but you need to make a custom filler panel at the windshield as well as pillars.

I am sure Adam can tell you more about it.

That would be cool if he sold the filler pannels, if not i could just make them. i supose u would have to cut out the old interior and make new mounts for new dash?

Yes you have to cut out the old dash.
Here are the only pictures I have of mine. I would take some of the frame I built to mount it but I am about 500 miles away from my car right now.

I'm looking to do the same. I bought an 96 Camaro for $250.00 and want to swap out as much of the interior as I can. Steering wheel/column dash and gauges. I hope to I can you the 96 harness for the gauges also. Got the console and ebake moved to the center. But at a lose of what to do next.
