Hi Robert,

When is your car arriving to Sweden, and where are you at?

I think that you should consider other wheels than TT2's, I think they are to common. There are a lot of wheels to choose from, both European and American. You know that BMW has the same boltpattern. Just 0.6mm difference.

To fit the optimum sizes you have to go with special backspacing that TT2 don't offer unless you special order. Budnik or Boyd make them on order at no extra charge. My wheels from Budnik fits perfectly and was not much more costly than TT2's

Yeah TT2 are too common. Centerline's are what I am thinking about.

Hi

It is ariving in about 4 weeks. To Gothenburg, I will the drive it to Kalmar
Did you order your budnik wheels. Or did you buy them in Sweden.

What about brakes and motor, Does any body any good ideas.
I am thinkig about a double turbo engine. Good or bad.
Any other engine sugestions.
And how about transmision, Manual or automatic. What do you think.

Well since we are spending your money here we go!

A set of budnik wheels9(maybe a set of spark or GTX's)
A twin turboed LS2
manual T56-Automatic 4L80E with a twist machine paddle shifter
4 wheel discs(Bear or wilwood)
air ride on all 4 corners

Hi again

That sounds very nice.
This winter I will be buying new wheels. (The spark´s look very nice . Does anybody know were I can find the price on them. 18*9,5 in the back and 18*8 in the front.)
Painting it.
Doing the interior.

This is for sure.

And if I am lucky It will be airride this year to.(money Isue )
The motor and tranny will be un touched this year they are new renovated.

Next winter I will swap the motor and tranny out.
I am a little into building the engine around a 4 bolted stel block.
Whit eagel crank and rods, je pistons. Trickflowheads, custom cam.
Injection, maybye Nira(Swedish) Or Megasquirt(Wich I have built and tuned befor). Two t04E chargers, Homemade manifolds.


I hope it all works my way.
Becaus this is my dream car since I first read about Chip Fooses Orange 69 PT car.
I would imagine it was the almost the first PT car built. Corect me if I am wrong.

I though Chip's camaro was a new release? I beleive Big Red was the first PT car although Street Fighter is more like it...I consider the Mule to be the first all around PT car...I know Mark built others before but the Mule has it all!!!
