when you mount the aluminum panels, do you set them in a PU sealer as well as rivet them??

We don't recommend panel sealer for this but, we do use a good bead of rtv sealer to stop vibration. They say something about the different expansion rates of the steel versus aluminum.

Hey, I have applied all the aluminum work for the chassis and my hands and forearms are numb. but here take a look at what I have now. I put every one of those rivets in by hand.

absolutely awesome... its starting to look really nice.. i would have bought a cheap pneumatic pop-riveter.... but respect for doing it by hand!!

What about some of the panel glues that are meant to bond steel to aluminum?
