I actually heard someone (i think it was an older lady) did that in ohio or something, apparently at night, the flash dazed her and she ran into to pole that the camera was on and the camera (which according to the new report on the radio weighed over 300 lbs fell into the windshield of the car and killed the driver, now the camera company has a nice lawsuit on their hands. and also allegedly the company that has the contract for most/all of the cameras in arizona have had a lawsuit filed against them for non fcc certified radar units, so depending on how far it goes in court all those tickets could be required to pay back, hope the city/state doesn't spend too much of the newly aquired revenu.
disclaimer: i heard all this on ankarlo in the morning on the radio, i have no proof of any of this.
also SWCHOPPER, from what I understand, if it was a mobile van that got the pic, if there is another car next to you, you could argue in court that it was the other guy because the mobile units cannot determine which lane the speeder was in, it takes a pic of all lanes. and from what i understand, if you dont pay the fine, or get on the website to look(which proves you recieved it) then they cant prove you got the ticket in the mail and they have like 60 or 90 days to "serve" you in person or your off the hook.
