There is nothing wrong with those ratios...

Anytime you go past 0.75 in a final drive... the efficiency plummets. I think they chose great ratios for what this transmission is designed for.

Drop a set of 3.25-3.50ish ratio gears into the differential and you'll get the best of both worlds.
