Rusty
Rusty, it is for a 67-69 Camaro or Pontiac (First Gen F-Body) and appears to be setup for power rack & pinion steering....doesn't look like the power rack is included though?

awr68 thanks for helping out with some of the details. Yes as stated it is for a 67,68 and 69 Camaros and Firebird's. These use mustang GT quick ratio rack and pinions witch can be manual or power.

BTW, it does come with a sway bar along with all the hardware and documentation that was provided by Wayne Due when I purchased it from him.

Thanks,
-Dave

I believe it's some around 59" to 60" from hub to hub. And I do believe 10" wide wheels will work, just depending on the backspacing.
I'll be happy to answer any other questions.

Thanks,
-Dave

Sorry for the delay. The subframe comes with the upper and lower control arms as shown in the pictures. Also included is the Sway bar and the original documents that I received from Wayne Due when I purchased the subframe. I will also include a set of brake caliper adapters that will allow C5 brakes to be used. No rack & pinion or coilovers are included. The subframe is new, never installed, stored indoors since date of purchase from Wayne. I did have it primed to prevent surface rust. The weld beads look to have been done by a machine. The man could weld like a mofo. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Dave

Just curious why you say mother of all subs. I was under the impression that this has the worst geometry of all the corvette based subs.

What an Ass. It sure was good enough for Mark Stielow to use on the Mule.

Some people just have to be negative. If you don't have anything postive to say please just worry about your own business.

I'm an ass? It's was a legit question. I know Stielow used one on the mule I followed the build in PHR. But there weren't any C5 suspensions back then were there? So if it's such a great sub then why is it no longer made? I wasn't being negative, and as a potential buyer it's totally my business.....so YOU Sir are the ass.

It's a nice sub but I just wanted to know why he called it the "mother of all subs" considering it's old technology and isn't even made anymore. There are 3 very nice c5/c6 based subs being sold and from his comment he's saying the Wayne Due is better than those.

I just realized maybe bowtieracer meant that it was the first sub when he said mother of all subs. But it sounded like he was saying it's the best.

But anyway I meant no offense, I had just read somewhere that the geometry wasn't the best compared to some of the newer ones. It's still a nice sub and I'd take one for $3k over one of the others for $6k.
