Not a fan of that style on the interior, but I applaud your taking of the road less traveled with the drivetrain. Now, get that thing out and run it!

It's been and being runned! There are plenty of witnesses of this Camaro taking on super bikes. Video clip on youtube of it on the lowest boost setting pulling a 2009 GT-R.
Thanks for the compliments. I'll post up more videos as I get them.

Many obtuse minded comments so far. Man, some people are harsh!
Well, I Love it! The pipes, I personally would have hid them and 45 degree'd them just before the tail panel and left them flat silver or something of that nature. Or tucked them in the inside the quarter just below the frame rail.
This car is definately a test of Technology V.S. Displacement, and I praise the challenge that you took upon yourself to embrace change. A new day is upon us!
Well, you could have dropped in a ZZ4 crate motor with a power glide, cragar ss 15" wheels and it jacked up in the back. Well, no, thats been done!
Or....Went with a BBC, trans brake, 5.13 Gear and had hell of a good time for about 10 sec. intravel's, Well, no, thats been done too!
There is an ass for every seat! I will never dis-credit someones taste in a build. Just learn from it.
Bitchen Car!

Thanks and good points!
Now for a quick video clip! Short shifting and granny shifting involved, tires were spinning like crazy in all the gears. Didn't have enough room to keep going safely.
Culture Shock Camaro was well under the speed limit and this was done in an area in Mexico.

Its still the same. I believe Ford Fiestas are made by Mexicans. Nothing has changed, the auto industry will build the car where it is cost effective for them, or if politics play a role. They aren't as patriotic as a brand as you would like to think. I'm 100% certain you car has parts from Taiwan and China. Whether it be a fender, rear mirror, radio deck, etc. At the end of the day its all plastic and metal from the same source.

I work in the automotive business so I do realize that it's a global business,I got your point earlier.
I also realize that re-pop parts are made off-shore,that's why they look good when you get them out of the box but soon look like crap a few years later, even if the car is garaged.
Your car,your decision...

Ted, as a fellow business owner, I applaud you for "going against the grain"
with a 1st. gen. (I personally live for loud, thumping chevy big blocks). I think most of the posters fail to realize that this car is a huge statement of what your company can accomplish. The media and all they hype, both postive and negative, will draw alot of attention to EVS.. Can you imagine what the younger tuner crowd thinks??? I bet they love it. That is what brings in the money and opens the door to a whole new crowd of car guys...Good move

By run it I did not mean street racing or hooning around on public roads.
Taking on "super bikes"? You mean on a track right? Your GT-R encounter.....on a track also?
The video is way not cool. That's a public road, you are ripping through three gears and catching up to that red SUV like its standing still. If THAT is as you say, "under the speed limit" then you got something wrong with that engine and the fact that its in Mexico......WTF! who cares where it is? It's still buffonery.
Like I said. It's a nice looking car.
But......

There is a place for it and not..I thought he slowed down enough before he got to the suv. It's really tough around here to open it up.
