68 camaro paint prep questions/need help please

im building a pro touring camaro and didnt realize my bodyman would be moving so fast .he called me down to look the car over and asked me some questions on what grill im going to run ect ect

ill go one question at a time
i have a standard 68 camaro and im switching over to an RS grille.ive heard people mention the fenders ect are different for an RS.problem now is i had my whole front end welded up and the fenders cant be changed.[easily anyhow].ive seen the kits for the grilles and some mention they have weld on brackets so fenders dont have to be swapped.
how do i know exactly where the brackets get welded on?is there a template?
who makes the best repo grille for a reasonable price?i dont remember where i seen the kit that has the slide by hands doors on grill.then i can add dse kit as money allows.

next question.
what if any weatherstripping needs to be mocked on to get gaps correct on doors,trunk ect?also please give me opinions on best manufacturer.
