Default Can I use stock gages with LS1?

Getting ready to drop my LS1 engine into my 69 camaro for fitting etc.... Want to know if I can still use the center console gages (Fuel, temp Etc...)? Im pretty sure I can reuse the stock speedo and tach. Just heard rumors of not being able to use the console gages. Want the car to look all stock. Thanks for the help

Yes you can.
I have a '68 Convert with a MagnaCharged LS2 and ALL of my stock gauges work. You will need a tach pulse multiplier/adapter to switch coil signal from 4 cyl to 8 cyl. Oil pressure line (mechanical) can be tapped into the 2-bolt piece near the oil filter, and you can get an adapter to run a TS6 sending unit in the metric thread port on the head to get water temp.

Good luck!
