Diggin' the firewall. I guess you're making a smaller removable cover for that side of the cowl panel to access the resivoirs?

I'm runnin a t-56 in my daily driver 99 chevy truck and a 4.56 gear in the rear. This will allow you to use 6th gear effectively. I rev to about 1650 rpm's running 65 in 6th, given this with a 30'' tall tire so you wanna factor that in. I was skeptical about a gear this low but it was perfect.

I'm curious also, I'm running a t56 in my 2001 and was told to even runn 4.88s and they would be fine. But this is for a Turbo setup, and 29" tire.

I have 4.10's in my SS with a 275/40/17 (25.66"). The ZF has a 0.5:1 OD ratio in 6th, and I turn 2400 RPM at 80 mph. It's perfect.

If I were to run a 29" tire, I would need a 4.63:1 ratio to keep the overall ratio the same.

First gear is very usable, but you dont stay in it long. It's great to get the tires smokin good and then go to second to hunt ditches.

Thumbs up few pics

few pics, starting to work on tne front end. had to make a rad support because ive made so many changes .the rad & cond are low in the frame to keep room for the intake work. i used a hood from a 07 tahoe and skinned it,i had to glue it and use pillar foam to keep the tissue paper like skin from warping then tacked it in place till the glue sets up. thanks for checking in bill
