Default Heidts IRS in 69 camaro

Does anyone know what is required to install this/ Has anyone installed something like this, http://www.heidts.com/index.cfm/page...rod/prd130.htm , in a 69 camaro. Also How would this compare to their 4 link kit in ride quality?

Default Heidts I.R.S.

I am working on a project with Heidts right now (project "Re-Peeled" by D&Z Customs LLC.) in the members/projects/introductions section. We made a complete bolt in I.R.S. system for the 70-81 2nd gens. I will be able to give more feed back on how well it all works in about a month & 1/2. We are talking about doing a bolt in 67-69 I.R.S. system also.

Thanks Randy(D&Z Customs LLC.)

I have installed a dozen of these in 30's and 40's street rods. Compared to a leaf spring set up it is a BIG improvement in ride and handling. One of the options we would use on the heavier sedans was the quad shock set up which provided a better ride. I liked how the car reacted to adjustments better with the Quad set up. I was always impressed with the handling that this IRS gave. Street rod stuff isn't know for it's "performance" but this set up crossed that line and performed very well. Also it was a very good qualty kit that was very well thught out and packaged.

I am extremely interested in this if you build a bolt in IRS for a 67' Camaro ! I been looking for a few years now and kinda gave up and decided to go with a typical straight axle 12bolt, but if I can still get a IRS for my project without paying an ungodly amount of money, I'm all in !

How much would such an item cost ?
