Default i shaved the trunk lock/latch questions

how do i go about getting the trunk opened now i shaved the lock/my budget is kinda strained so im thinking a cable? mabey run under the drivers seat?can you guys shed some light on this for me/thank you

Thanks for the recommendations.
This is a complete bolt in kit, I even have a simple sketch on how to make a cable pull set up incase you loose battery power and need to get into the trunk. Call me to get the sketch with you order 940-391-9002.

one quick question/i dont have the key lock on the rear panel.if i have the electric button inside the car and hit the switch to open it will it fly open fast?i dont want the trunk to flip up fast.can it be rigged to just open the lock then ill have to lift the trunk myself?i will be buying this kit in the next week or 2 i just need to sort some things out.i checked your site out and i feel its the best latch system available for my application ,the 68 camaro trunk.thanks

How fast your trunk opens will depend on the trunk tension rods and how heavy or light the trunk lid is

Mike is correct, the weight of the trunk lid depends on spoiler/no spoiler and body work/no body work (bondo) or a combination of both. The tension rods can be adjusted if need be. If you do adjust them be very careful, they are under alot of pressure.
