Road racing on a closed track? Or open road racing like silver state? The speed of the car will help determine the steering ratio wich may also determine the box. I wanted to use the smaller 670 box, but the 800 had more room to play with the internals and to make a slower turning ratio for higher speeds.
I went through Mark at Savitske classic and custom. He sells both boxes and can help you with all your suspension needs as well.

As far as the road racing I'm not really sure what I want to get in to. And if I do, it will probably only be every once in a great while. My main desire is to set the car up for the street and windy roads. For now I'm just building up a 350. Hoping to get around 400-425hp so the car won't be going too fast yet. I still have to do the rear end and everything...I figured I'd start with the front suspension first.
