Thanks Zbugger, thats the kind of info i'm looking for....

Is that a big hose clamp you have around the tach to hold it in?

Looks like the tach and speedo have a slighty different profile on the surround? Looks good, dude, nice work.

Yeah, that's actually a couple smaller hose clamps I used to hold it in place. Also, the surrounds are different. I really don't care as I already had the tach. It was easier to do that than get the separate components and a new tach.

Autometer also makes a Pro Light shift light that use a RPM Pill to set.

Also, for a cleaner look, you can get this RPM activated module to light up a Quick Light shift light. That way you can keep the standard tach with the same surround as your speedometer.

Search would be the best option for those photos. I google up the Dakotal Digitals VTX. Autometer's don't fit the bezel, but I have used Autometer ultra-lites in the 67-68 Camaro Dash in the past. Just in a street car you need things like turn signals, and I have found that New Vintage USA was the best option. Don't like their colors, then you can have custom gauges built.

As far as I know East Bay Muscle Cars is still in business. I sure hope so, they build some very trick cars. I have not personally used any of their parts but would not be afraid to, very nice stuff.
