I'll have to dig a little for the name, but it was actually an outfit that sold them off ebay. It was for a '78 Camaro and supposedly can support 1000 horse. Since I will be no where near that I figured I woudl be fine for the eventual heads, cam and maggie! I just bent up the top of the shroud myself.

Thanks,
Dave

Cool project Dave. Looks like it's coming along pretty good. Look forward to seeing more.

OK Guys,

The car was taken over to the body shop yesterday and will be getting the finishing body work done to it and the flushmount YR1 spoilers all fitted up as well. I am going down in size to a 2.5" exhaust because the 3" is unnecessary at the ultimate power level I will create ~450 to ~500 crank. Plus it is just too insnaely loud and I am having too much ground clearance woes.

Other than that I could nto be more excited!!! There has been a color change - she will now wear Jetstream Blue, a ZR1/ZO6 Vette color. I love the Cyber Grey color but fell in love with this after seeing it in person and always wanted a blue car. I will be taking pics as it progresses!

Once this is done I will begin tearing into my next project - a '71 Challenger!

Thanks all!
Dave

How do you like the protouringfbody pieces? How does the package function as a whole?

For the limited driving I have done with it, I REALLY like the suspension set-up. Dave nailed the spring rates and the ride height is perfect for me. You will not be disappointed as he does a nice job at listening to what you want and going from there.

Here's a whole bunch of updates gents!

Lots going on with her recently. It is almost done paint and bodywork. They dealership I took it to does just as much classic car work as it does collision. They have treated me very well and are doing a phenomenal job! The color is Z06 Jetstream Blue (also known as Bluestream Metallic). I absolutely love the color!

Enjoy!
