Where on the chassis is the number located? Can you give the last couple of numbers in case someone sees it they can identify it on the spot and maybe get it rescued?

I am not sure about the rest, but the '55 at Columbus had the number on the top of the left frame rail just behind where the upper control arm connects.

Sorry to hear, I hope he gets it back . I will keep an eye out on the forums since I am not in that area.
