Good to hear about the new job Tom!! I just went over 21 years in the AF a couple of weeks ago and originally thought I would get out after 20. I think I will try and hang in there for another year or so with the job market the way it is.

thanks guys
to all that have responded to my thread ..... THANKS
the support from all of you makes a difference.
never thought id be in this situation...i know most are here to enjoy cars and the hobby but kinda feels like a family of good people that give support no matter whats being talked about...i have no ego, so i probably add more of my life in here than really anybody cares to read .
somehow "life" keeps getting in the way of building cars...
tom

I was very disappointed when the project came to an end. But am very glad that you have found new employment and the rambler will continue on! I too just found a solution for my lack of employment!

HUGE Congrats on the job, Tom!! I know you have been threw hell this year and really deserved some good to happen....it must have been time!
There's nothing wrong with the job you scored, I know a couple guys that do it. Sometimes long hours...but the pay can be good. And it's easier on the body than your last gig!! Just don't get all fat sitting at your deck....ok?

Chris, I'll hit 24 in Oct and feel exactly the same way! I thought I was going to retire last May and am now planning on staying until HYT in 2013... unless I screw up and get promoted... then I'll stay for 30!
