what master to use

I just got home from picking up a 02 C5 master cylinder and booster assembly.I bolted up the master to my factory booster and it looks and fits exactly the same.I am running 02 C5/C4 front brakes and LS1 rear disc setup.Can I run my factory booster with the C5 master?? Does anybody have any idea how my pedal will feel?? Do I still need to run a porportioning valve?? Is it worth the trouble to modify my firewall to install the corvette booster??
